One Day Bread Making Course

Baking your own Bread on our one day course
You will learn:

  • Machine and hand mixing methods
  • How to work with different flours
  • Fermentation processes, including overnight doughs, French poolish and sour doughs
  • How to add flavour to bread, such as fresh herbs, pesto, potato, mustard sauce, etc.
You will hand mix at least one dough during the day, moulding and shaping it yourself. This could be anything from a tin loaf, individual rolls, single strand plait to a hedgehog - the choice is yours.

The day is relaxed and informative, working in a small group and with the opportunity to ask questions at any time.

Start 9:00am and finish at 4:00pm
Cost: £95
Cost includes drinks and a sit-down lunch. You will also take home whatever bread you create on the day.

Italian & French Days

Two new additions to our normal courses, following a similar format to produce breads such as foccacia, ciabatta, stromboli, and bread sticks or Grissini. Our French days include croissant baguettes and brioche. We offer a reduction in price of these courses if you have attended one of our others.
